spontaneously picnicking

This Sunday morning, Dad was away, we decided not to go to church (due to tiredness from the previous day!), the younger siblings were watching tv, us older girls were in Mum's room and we weren't doing much. (except for trying to think up april fool's jokes!) Mum proposed the idea of going somewhere today, rather than just staying at home with nothing to do. Then the idea came to me. A picnic! A picnic in the beautiful Japanese Gardens! Mum and the girls liked the idea, so for the next hour or so we prepared a delicious lunch, packed park necessities (including a much wanted camera), piled into the car and headed for the gardens. It was a gorgeous day and you couldn't ask for a more perfect day for picnic...

Eloise and Sophie loved to have their photos taken.
The lovely Mummy (who agreed to take us to the gardens for a picnic) and her big, beautiful and bright hat!

Pretty flowers I found whilst exploring.

I love the absolutely delighted look on Sophie's face as she runs towards Mum!

The beautiful water fall.

All in all, not a bad place to spend a couple of hours of delightful society with your family : )
