so this was christmas

Yes this was Christmas. My Christmas. My family and mine.

The Christmas tree before the unwrapping started.

All of us children with our stockings.

Me helping Sophie tie on her new apron.

Micah and Isaac with their new, cool glasses.

All of the boys presents arranged neatly on the couch for everyone to see.

This new beauty of mine that holds earrings, necklaces and bracelets.

The Black Beer Gingerbread that Mum made for Christmas morning tea. We sort of made it into a prehistoric park with dinosaur models, kind of.

The whole family (minus Dad) around the Christmas table.

This delicious ice cream cake was a great dessert for our hot, Christmas day.

And this lemon meringue pie made by Moi was pretty tasty too. (and if you hadn't already noticed, i didn't photograph anything of our christmas lunch because desserts are much more exciting to take pictures of then any old turkey : D)

 Yum!

Our third Christmas dessert (ha. we like to over do it) was a HUGE trifle Mum made. Massive, hey?

After our big Christmas morning tea/lunch/dinner/dessert (that went for approximately five hours or something) it was chilling time. Sophie enjoyed playing in her new tent/tunnel thing.

Dad and the boys just played cricket.

I mucked around with the camera in front of the mirror. With my new sunglasses on of course!

And I took photos of these awesome wedges.
And before you scream your head off and think 'you got these shoes for christmas? they're a.m.a.z.i.n.g!'
I didn't. *big sigh*
They're actually my Mum's new wedges. She absolutely loves them because she gets to be taller than me (ha) when she puts them on!
But I still took photos of them because I had nothing else to do, and it was Christmas and hey, who says I can't take photos of awesome shoes?!

And in the early evening we all sang carols together and I played on the piano. It was fun. (and i made mistakes. oh well, who cares.)

So THAT was Christmas.
