a friends and ice cream kind of weekend

My friend Cassie turned fifteen last week. To celebrate, she invited Lauren, Briahna and I down to Brisbane to stay at her place for the weekend. We had a tremendously awesome time together.

It was fun doing nails together, especially since Bri is an expert at it! She painted my nails an amazing pattern of pink and white stripes.

In the afternoon, we went to South Bank with Imogen and Annie. We strolled through the markets, which was seriously one of the most amazing markets I've ever been to. The clothes were beautiful and made with interesting materials and the jewelry was so gorgeous and seriously designed so differenty to anything I've seen before!
 Ginny and I both bought the coolest earrings ever.
I like taking pictures in full length mirrors...this one was particularly cute.
We can be quite amusing sometimes.
And then a free ferry pulled up near where we were sitting and we all decided then, there and now, to hop on it!
Unfortunately, we forgot to get off it and ended up a long way down the river. We had to walk all the way back in time to be picked up. It was fun and we exercised our limbs which is always a good thing. I love spontaneous adventures with friends.

That evening, some more of Cassie's friends came over for her ice cream party. We enjoyed a night of eating, ice cream, talking, ice cream, laughing, ice cream, fun and oh, did I mention ice cream?
Definitely my kind of party.
 Raspberry lemonade with yep, real raspberries floating on the top. Delicious.
Annie fishtailed my hair and made me very happy indeed!
{more from this awesome shoot in next post}

And that was my wonderful weekend, spent with some of the loveliest friends I have. Thank you so much Cassie for the special time, I'll always remember it :)

Much love,
Holly
