enjoying the simple, small things

My challenge today was to capture small and simple parts of nature and make them interesting. Before today I had no idea that you could make a picture of a leaf interesting, or bokeh a leafy bush behind a fence, or capture some leaves on a branch or take some photos of ugly little flowers in our back yard and make them look alright. It was a little hard, I had to be creative. But I enjoyed it immensely!
Have a lovely weekend every one...I'm performing at a church tomorrow night with my choir and I'm hoping that I can actually sing by a nasty cold at the moment!

  1. Wow, Holly - these photos are so cool. I did something like this a little while back and called it 'Simple Joys'. Lovely post.
PS. So awesome to find out that your back yard looks like mine! - we even grow snow-peas, too!

  2. Yes, your quite right Holly! Nature photography is always beautiful, I like the #11 photo, so pretty! :) Oh dearie me! A cold, I hope you recover soon.

  3. You did such a great job capturing the beauty of nature, Holly! Love all of the bright and vibrant colors.

  4. I really love how you've captured these moments!

I love comments.
