how the days fly

Yes. They do fly.

Already it's November 2011. Christmas is in a month. Where did all the time go?
I feel like this year has been an eventful year so far.

oh spring, how you've blessed me this year with your pure gorgeousness. you're almost gone. i'll miss you.

 I have done many things.

making a wedding cake out of art materials. fun.

I have learnt so much.

the poppies placed by the names of thousands of people who died in the wars, at the war memorial in canberra.

I have experienced just a little bit of the big wide world around me.





seeing the queen when she came to visit. you can just see her face and gloved hand in this photo.

There have been the tough times as well as the good. School has been hard. Life has been sad. I've had trouble with my faults. But God is my rock.

My firm foundation. I've clung onto Him through the tough times. After all, if life was all easy and and full of pleasure, what a terrible mess we would be in.

This year, 2011 has been blessed.

and yes, i know this post might seem a little 'early'. why not write it at the very end of 2011, or even in january 2012? the inspiration came to me today. and when it comes, i write it and publish it : )

p.s. my friend bria has just received the role of 'dorothy' in the upcoming musical of the wizard of oz at the empire theatre. she is really thrilled about it and i'd love if you'd go and give her a bit of love!
